Jade Zoe has officially taken over triple j's House Party segment, and will be DJing to the entire country every Saturday night from 6-9pm.

Renowned party starter, queen of turbo selections and master of the decks Jade Zoe has officially been announced as the new host of triple j's House Party segment, which airs 6-9pm local time every Saturday night. She's been in the hot seat for a few weeks now, but shared the news she and the national youth broadcaster were making it official in a post on Instagram.

Taking the reigns over from Ebony Boadu - who moved to Breakfast recently alongside Bryce MillsJade Zoe is the latest in a string of exceptional DJs which have hosted the spot including Nina Las Vegas and KLP. Having performed all over the country and with many years in the game, helming her own parties and club nights, delivering stellar mixes, there's no denying she's ready to step up to the challenge. DJing to the entire country every Saturday night is no easy task, but if anyone can do it, Jade Zoe can!

In an interview with Pedestrian.tv about the news, Zoe said she's eager to be able to play new music and is keen to mix in "those classics that I know will hype people up" with fresh tunes every week.

"There’s just so much cool stuff coming out of Australia as a whole at the moment, and I feel like listeners are getting behind Australian artists because they know what happened during COVID," she said.

She also spoke of how she endeavours to be a "positive influence" on Asian-Australians, and the timing could not be better to see an Asian-Australian woman succeeding and kicking major goals.

"[E]specially with what’s going on worldwide with the Asian hate at the moment, I just want to bring a positive vibe. I know so many Asian Australians – obviously, I am one – but just to have someone positive kinda in the mainstream to show younger generations you can do something like this."

You can hear Jade Zoe doing her thing every Saturday, 6-9pm on your radio or via the triple j website or app. Congratulations, Jade Zoe!
