Pitch Music & Arts announces its return in 2021 with new temporary location and revised program

Pitch Music & Arts Festival has announced its return in 2021 with a revised program, new location but all the fun we've come to expect.

In very exciting news, the much loved Pitch Music & Arts Festival has announced its return in 2021. In lieu of their multi-day camping festival, the festival will instead be decamping to the inner city of Melbourne, with a revised program but all the fun we've come to expect from the event.

The 2021 addition of Pitch will be a special one-day event, recreating the famous multi-level Pitch Black stage at an open air venue, and they've pulled out all the stops to ensure the line up is second to none, playing host to a multitude of the best electronic talent Australia has on offer. CC:DISCO!, DJ Boring (DJ Set), DJ Seinfeld, HAAi, Jennifer Loveless and Skin On Skin will all be in attendance, comprising an all-star lineup of homegrown heavy hitters.

Pitch Black is the arena which has become synonymous with Pitch Music & Arts, and the brutalist, steel, multi-level scaffolding dance floor will be larger than the original version in order to accommodate all patrons. The stage will be expanded into a giant rectangular, scaffolding colosseum featuring a surround sound Funktion-One soundsystem.

The festival will return to its original format of being a multi-day camping festival in 2022, keeping its home in the Grampians. This all Australian lineup will enable the event to go ahead in a one-day format, with the organisers making the difficult decision that planning a regional, multi-day camping festival relying on multiple international artists performing in March is not viable.

In the interest of complete transparency in communication between the organisers and their community, the organisers advised in a press release that all acts but DJ Seinfeld have Australian passports. "The organisers are working closely with Dj Seinfeld and his team on special consideration around a performing artist visa, he has agreed to a 2 week hotel quarantine prior to his tour," the statement said.
