LA duo BEST COAST recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of the release of their landmark debut album, Crazy For You.

LA duo BEST COAST recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of the release of their landmark debut album, Crazy For You, and are now set to host a very special event to mark the occasion. Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno changed surf rock and indie pop as we knew it with their genre-melding, kaleidoscopic, introspective pop debut, catapulting them to global fame and consequent legend status in the indie and alternative world.

Cosentino said, “Crazy for You truly changed my life. I was 22 years old, feeling so lost, confused and anxious - and so I wrote a bunch of songs about it. I had no idea the album would impact people the way it did back then, and I had no idea its legacy would last a decade later. When I started this band, I had no expectations of what would happen, I just wanted to make and play music with my friend. Bobb and I feel so lucky to have been able to do everything we have over the last 10 years, and we are so appreciative of our fans who have stuck with us since the beginning.”

Not only will there be a performance of the duo playing the album from start to finish for the first time ever filmed in quarantine, but a whole slew of other celebratory measures as well. The pair will be joined by the likes of Hayley Williams of Paramore , Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES, and more as well as well as archival footage from 2010/2011, interviews with Bethany and Bobb.

Tickets for the show are on sale now, and -with the whole event being virtual- will be broadcasted across the globe meaning international fans can get in on the good times. If you're looking to also party (virtually) with a purpose, you're in luck as the pair have also announced all tips from the event will be donated to The Loveland Foundation which aims to bring "opportunity and healing to communities of colour, especially to Black women and girls, by helping provide financial assistance to those seeking therapy and beyond."
