Sydney legends DMA's have announced six stripped back and unplugged shows at The Factory Theatre to celebrate their new album.

Much-loved Sydney trio DMA's are set to release their new album, The Glow, on July 10th, and to celebrate they are set to be one of the first bands to have actual, physical, real life shows later this month. Set to play six intimate shows at The Factory Theatre in Sydney, the band will play the unplugged and intimate shows across the last weekend of July giving local fans the  the chance to be the very first in the world to witness the band’s latest material live on stage.

Performing two reduced-capacity, stripped-back shows per night, the band alongside the venue, Frontier Touring, I OH YOU and Secret Sounds have all worked closely to ensure  COVID-19 safety standards are met for these concerts, including a changeover period to allow for a clean of the venue.

In a statement, The Factory’s Sam Nardo said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be opening our doors for such a special series of gigs with the DMA’S. This is a one-off opportunity that will no doubt be relished by fans who have waited a long time to get out there to support Aussie music and it’s simply great to be a part of it.”

These tickets will not last long, with the band announcing that first pre-sale access (noon AEST on Wednesday 8 July) will be granted to those who have purchased a pre-order bundle with a digital copy of the album and a signed poster. All profits from this bundle will be donated to the Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS).
