Following on from their stellar recent single, 'Rare Air', MILDLIFE are doubling down with another new jam. Titled 'Vapour', this is the latest cut we've heard from the fourpiece's forthcoming new album, and is yet another glistening, intergalactic jazz-funk odyssey we can't get enough of.

Continuing to shake things up from where they left off with their excellent debut, MILDLIFE display a newly reinvigorated, more danceable sound. Complete with a brilliant flute solo, they once again convince you to shake off your iso-blues and winter-cobwebs, leaving it all behind for a brief but necessary escape. 'Vapour' sees them once again pull this off with style, adding to the very exciting picture of what their new album, Automatic, might sound like come its September 18 release date.

On their new single, the band said, "‘Vapour’ is a dance mantra with enough weight to blow the cobwebs off your tired mind and snap you out of your endless feed scrolling rituals.” And, if you need a little more push to do exactly that, the band have also released a live video in which they bring their new single to life in a sprawling, cosmic journey. Serving as a portion of a live session recorded last month at the Colour Club in Melbourne, also included in the clip is a live performance their 2017 single, 'The Magnificent Moon', with the band flawlessly melding the two together as a sort of coming together of their past, present and ultimately future. It's bittersweet viewing as we continue to long for the thriving, packed dancefloors where Mildlife really shine, but showing them in action does fulfill some of this yearning nonetheless.
