Sydney producer duo LAMALO are busy showing exactly why we should all have our eyes firmly fixed on them lately. Following on from the eclectic 'Jungle Train' featuring Little Green, the pair are back for more today, teaming up with Spanish artist ANGE for 'Qué Pasó' which we are thrilled to be premiering.

ANGE said of the single, "’Qué pasó’ (meaning ‘what happened?’ in Spanish) is a song about love lost. The song is told from the point of view of a partner who is left behind, confused and angry as they come to terms with the end of their relationship. The song came about in a very organic way. Yossi began playing chords on the keyboard and experimenting with sounds. Mich added a very powerful bass and I started writing.

Lamalo's Yossi added, “Angie wrote the lyrics and they were actually quite poignant, we felt that they combined with the music in an interesting way to make some sort of bittersweet dancefloor banger.”

Infectious from start to finish, 'Qué Pasó' is an energetic, feel-good collaboration between two exciting emerging acts. Combining ANGE's vocals that sit in the same vein as BANKS with a funk-laden bass line, a thumping beat and warm keys, 'Qué Pasó' is an undeniable bop that reaches euphoric heights.
