Belgian techno superstar AMELIE LENS has announced a brand new EP on the way, and has shared the first taste of what's to come. Titled 'Higher', she confirmed the EP of the same name is set to drop August 21 via her own Lenske label. While that may feel like a while away still, the title track is more than enough to keep us satisfied until then.

Clocking in at just under five minutes, 'Higher' is a masterclass in Lens' euphoric dark acid techno sounds. It's a carefully layered heater, maintaining a fittingly high energy as it builds and builds, threatening to completely break free at any moment.

Following on from her recent Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 (which doubled as the longest mix in over 20 years with a four hour run time), it's all systems go for Amelie Lens at the moment. Set for release on the forthcoming EP alongside a remix from fellow Belgian wizards FJAAK and another track titled ‘L’Obscurite’, Higher is looking like a very impressive EP already.
