Music Victoria is offering support during the COVID-19 crisis by offering free one year memberships, closing tomorrow.

Music Victoria is offering support during the COVID-19 crisis by offering free one year memberships, in a nod to the continued hardships experienced by the arts sector under COVID-19.

Victoria’s peak not-for-profit body for contemporary music have also been offering free weekly online workshops, with industry round tables connecting affected members of the community, and advocating the communication of the wider impacts of COVID-19 on the arts industry.

Music Victoria was started following the 2010 Save Live Australia's Music rally, where more than 10,000 attendants brought Melbourne’s CBD to a standstill in support of music venues, and as part of a plan to ensure Victoria’s live music scene was represented in the years to come.

This offer closes today - and with membership ranging between $33 and $440 depending on the type, you’d best be jumping on that quick smart. Members receive benefits including discounts on music related services and shops, alongside priority access to Music Victoria’s professional development program.

By signing up, you also show your support for the Victorian and greater Australian music industry - and if you are in a position to do so, slinging a little bit of money in Music Victoria’s direction helps the organisation provide continued and much needed guidance.
