The Avalanches and Jamie xx go B2B on NTS Radio

A few months ago, Jamie xx was meant to headline a one-off event in Sydney. The event, which would've seen him joined by The Avalanches and Midnight Juggernauts, was meant to happen on March 14th and was a special fundraiser for climate action. Of course, this incredible night wasn't meant to be and never happened due to the global outbreak of COVID-19. Now, weeks later, we've got the next best thing with The Avalanches joining Jamie xx over the weekend for a special B2B set on NTS Radio.

The latest edition of his monthly NTS Radio show, Jamie xx announced the news of the set last week on social media and described it as an "Actual dream come true." The mix itself, which was recorded between both London and Sydney, is a joyous affair and exactly what we need right now.

This mix comes after the release of Jamie xx's first single in five years, 'Idontknow'. He also jumped on Essential Mix duties for BBC Radio 1 and just recently shared some very moving visuals to accompany his latest single.
