Live Review: Nerve and Hoodzy jump on Swish Music's 'Showtime' remix with Dau Dau and Unamii

It was just a few short weeks ago that we stumbled upon one of the best hip hop cuts we've heard all year (read our article on it here), and now we're being treated to a remix that takes the track to even greater heights. Ipswich crew SWISH MUSIC have shared a remix of Dau Dau and Unamii's fiery collab, 'Showtime', and have kept it locals only with new additions from none other than NERVE and HOODZY.

Four of South East Queensland's finest all together on one track, the 'Showtime' remix is hands down the best thing you'll hear at least in this week but maybe even longer. Nerve wastes no time showing why he is one of the most exciting hip hop artists in the country right now, while Hoodzy absolutely rises to the challenge and delivers a blistering verse of their own. With these two joining the already stellar performances from Dau Dau and Unamii, this remix will have you reeling from the first second it kicks off.

Swish Music, founded by Dau Dau, was named after the city it all started being Ipswich. Over the last eighteen months, the crew has evolved into twelve members, each dedicated to perfecting their craft. Along with its founder and Unamii, the rest of the members are Reddeye Glizzi, Deemenace, Jay Swi$h, XPunhc, Showt!me, DC Ralph, M2, Been Ballin, TMB and AG. “We’re in the studio five times a week, making two to three songs a day and helping each other become our best," Dau Dau said.

With the release of this remix, it's clear that a lot of things are now cooking for Swish Music, and that this is only just the start. Watch the video for the 'Showtime' remix below:
