Melbourne duo Two People deliver an exhilarating rush with their latest single, 'A Taste' which once again sees them team up with Kllo's Simon Lam.

Melbourne duo TWO PEOPLE have followed up their 2019 single, 'Dream Steppin'' with a heavenly slice of dreamy electronica titled 'A Taste'. The racing new single sees the pair once again team up with Kllo's Simon Lam, and sees them delve even further into the emotionally intense soundscapes they so brilliantly create.

While 'Dream Steppin'' was a groove-focused earworm, 'A Taste' is a soaring, euphoric number complete with a driving yet reassuring beat and arpeggiated synths laying down the perfect foundation for Phoebe Lou's iconic vocals to boldly echo out above. All about the thrill of the chase, 'A Taste' is an exhilarating rush that will leave you breathless.

Two People said of the song's concept as one about “desire, that innate pull. It’s about that idea of freedom and how it can trap you.”

“A Taste has been around the bend. It was a bit of a monster of a track in the studio, living plenty of different lives. We always wanted it to be this driving song that was deep and euphoric but also alive. It was madness trying to get the sounds to sit with one another. If only you could hear the drums soloed. Throw this on late.”

Taken from Two People's forthcoming second album, the eagerly anticipated follow up to their debut album First Body is in the final mixing stages right now. From what we've heard so far, this album is already shaping up to be one of the year's best.
