Live Review: PREMIERE: Planet Vegeta prove they're ones to watch with new single, 'Mai Elle'

Western Sydney trio Planet Vegeta are two for two with their brand new single, 'Mai Elle' - a cunning, deep dancefloor mover.

With the release of their debut single, 'Jorja', last year, we knew Planet Vegeta were onto something good. Now the Western Sydney trio are back with another heater which makes this rising trio two for two and an absolute act to watch, and we are thrilled to be premiering this one today.

Titled 'Mai Elle', Planet Vegeta combine hip-hop, neo soul and garage to create a laidback but commanding dancefloor filler. With a warm synth and gentle guitar strums kicking things off, you'd be forgiven for being lulled into thinking this might be a slow and gentle jam before the beat kicks in to elevate 'Mai Elle' to new heights. Hellbent on creating human movement, whether its in your home in isolation or whenever we're allowed back on a crowded floor with plenty of dancing room, Planet Vegeta do not miss with this one.

With all three members sharing the spotlight, the harmony between the trio cannot be understated. From LKGD's impressive production chops (including a subtle Anderson .Paak sample) to Jazz's effortless rhymes all the way through to SVNO's heavenly vocals to round things out nicely, Planet Vegeta's success so far is thanks to how perfectly the three work together as they play to each other's strengths.

With 'Mai Elle', Planet Vegeta level up and prove once again they've got something special going on right now. It's this that makes them one of the most exciting acts we've heard in recent times. Listen to 'Mai Elle' below.
