Pabllo Vittar announces Australian debut for 2020 Mardi Gras
Pioneering drag artist Pabllo Vittar has announced her long-awaited maiden voyage to Australia this year, confirming that she will be playing at this year’s Mardi Gras Party in Sydney. Joining Kesha and Dua Lipa as well as a slew of DJs and performers, Vittar will take to the Hordern Pavillion this February 29th for what is sure to be an unforgettable performance.
Noting there are more announcements coming soon, the Brazillian star has had an enormous rise over recent years, exploding onto the scene in 2014, becoming the world’s most followed drag queen, appearing on both Charli XCX‘s mixtape, Pop 2 and her album, Charli, and releasing her own music including the 2019 hit, ‘Flash Pose’ taken from her forthcoming album, 111. Furthermore, she’s amassed billions of streams and views, was the first drag queen ever to win an MTV Europe Music Award in 2019 and has collaborated with the likes of Major Lazer, Charli XCX, Sofi Tukker, Anitta, and Diplo.
As if we couldn’t stan enough, Vittar also uses her platform to be a passionate advocate for LGBTQI+ rights both in Brazil and beyond, and is known for absolutely legendary performances.
