Australia's biggest free live music festival, St Kilda Festival, has announced the line up to its 40th year.

Australia's biggest free live music festival, St Kilda Festival, has announced the line up to its 40th year and it looks like they're set on celebrating in true style with over 50 acts locked in to perform across multiple stages.

Focusing on showcasing some of the hottest talent going, the vast line up includes something for everyone, from renowned party-starter Hot Dub Time Machine to StonefieldThe Kite String TangleMama Kin SpenderGordon Koang and so many more set to play on February 9th. The festival has also shared the news of a secret performer, but we won't know who it is until January 31st.

It doesn't stop at the music though, as the festival also has announced a range of workshops, community group activities, rides, food and market stalls, as well as a very special "iconic 80s trends" dress code for the day to double down on its celebration of its 40 year history.
