Sydney's COAST & OCEAN returns today from a two year hiatus with a new clip to accompany his latest single, 'White Roses'. The track saw him enlist an all-star cast for this one, with Aussie hip-hop producer John Reichardt, ARIA award winning engineer Cam Bluff and Berlin-based talent Alice Hills all coming together for this captivatingly beautiful number.
He's today sharing the narrative-driven clip to accompany the track, and it's premiering here via Purple Sneakers.
The track itself pairs stuttered 808 drum patterns with his effortless ear for crafting a damn good pop song. The track sees him neatly settle in at the intersection of RnB, hip-hop and pop, making for a sound that hasn't really been explored in Australia yet.

The clip embodies the organic nature of the track, with shots of both Coast & Ocean and Alice Hills frolicking in the sun in various natural settings. It's a beautifully composed clip, and with its strong focus on imagery and cinematography, it makes for a totally visceral experience.
Coast & Ocean's been busy touring the globe these past few months, with his work ethic never holding up. Although he took a few years off to figure some things out, it's undeniable that his return it set to be explosive.
