Mysterious Sydney producer BRUX has given the Kite String Tangle’s ‘P()L4R’ a dark, late night remix. The track spins the original on its head, driving Danny Harley’s music into a completely new direction. Its rave-cave elements, twisting melodies and throbbing bass lines take the track into a new territory away from the traditionally vibrant and welcoming Kite String Tangle vibe.

BRUX’s remix strips the track down to its roots. It opens with a punchy kick and throbbing bass line leaning towards a classic dark garage ambience. As the remix progresses, elements from 'P()L4R’ begin to appear. She keeps the pitched down vocals and ominous chords from the original and melts them with that classic BRUX flare. The buildup is minimal, with only a sweeping synth and the whispery vocal holding the track together.

It is from here the track reaches its teasing peak. The drop is a sinister, heads down club stomper. The bass line rumbles, the kicks are tight and the rhythm burning, keeping the listener engaged and moving from start to finish. The final drop progresses this, with a building synth line alongside the driving percussion, giving the track a second wind.

BRUX adds to this sentiment, stating that “I wanted to take the track down a dark twisting tunnel" and that she does. It’s a techy journey that is frightening in its boldness. BRUX is yet again riding high with this new remix. Alongside her bubbling single ‘Belong’, the producer is making a very strong statement building an impressive 2019.
