Live Review: B Wise shares new video for 'Actin' Different', announces debut album and national headline tour

Rising hip-hop star B WISE has been enjoying a pretty stellar run lately. Fresh from a standout performance at SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS, the Sydney rapper has this week announced his long-awaited debut album is finally coming out, and he's also shared the news he'll be heading out for a massive headline national tour to celebrate.

Titled Area Famous, B Wise's debut album will celebrate the suburban streets of Sydney's south-west in which he grew up. The location is instrumental in making B Wise who he is today, both as a person and an artist, and he is a product of its multicultural spirit. Set to include 'Feel Something', 'The Key' and latest single, 'Actin' Different', Area Famous is set to be one of this year's most hotly anticipated records thanks to B Wise's steady rise over the past few years. Now truly coming into his own and with his own lane firmly cut out for himself, by himself, it's no understatement to say that B Wise is one of the country's most exciting artists at the moment, so to announce all of this this week only amplifies this even more.

The news comes after the brand new visuals that dropped for his latest single last week, showing off yet another side of the rapper and highlighting his versatility as an artist. The clip also represents another step up for the artist as he evolves from local rapper to future-superstar with his cross-country influences on full display while still maintaining his genuine, authentic nature that drew many fans in in the first place.
