Live Review: Hit machines Riton & Kah-Lo return with another banger in 'Up & Down'

Verified hit machines RITON & KAH-LO have once again done what they're damn well good at today and released a brand new thumper to make all your troubles go away. Well, maybe all your troubles won't go away, but you'll definitely forget about them for 2 minutes and 24 seconds at least. Titled 'Up & Down', this has been a highlight of their many festival sets this year, and its release is accompanied by the news fans have all been waiting for - a confirmed debut combined album is on the way.

Due out September 28, Foreign Ororo is perhaps one of the most anticipated records in recent memory for dance music fans thanks to Riton & Kah-Lo's two year home run of releasing so many hits. From 'Fasta', 'Rinse & Repeat', 'Ginger', and 'Fake ID', the duo are a match made in dance heaven and this album will be a testimony to that.

'Up & Down' is another example of just how perfectly suited these two artists are, with Kah-Lo once again taking the mic while Riton works the production into an upbeat, high energy arrangement for Kah-Lo's vocals to glide over. With a trademark hook that will embed itself in your mind for days to come, 'Up & Down' is a booty-shaking anthem that will get you dancing whether you want to or not.

Coming off a Grammy nomination for 'Rinse & Repeat', Riton & Kah-Lo continue to cement themselves as one of the most in-demand dance duos in the world right now, and with an album out next month, that's certainly not about to change. For now though, 'Up & Down' is stuck on repeat!
