Melbourne dark electronica craft worker King IV has released a massive new single featuring fellow electronic fiend Rromarin, entitled ‘We Can Get It’,

Melbourne dark electronica master King IV has released a massive new single, ‘We Can Get It’. This is the first we’ve seen from her for a wee while, with this re-emergence revealing a new extremity to her sound and a unity with fellow electronic fiend, Rromarin.

King IV (pronounced King Ivy) draws much of her inspiration from Melbourne’s rich electronic sector, writing her own music with a progressive fusion of modern sounds that amalgamates stylistic influences from underground EDM and Alt-RnB scenes.

King IV's first single, ‘No. One’, premiered here on Purple Sneakers less than a year ago, was met with an astonishing public reception. Earlier this year, the release of her her second single, ‘Like I'm Back’, set a new tone for King IV's bold demeanour, showing a more intricate and assertive approach to her sound.

‘We Can Get It’ exudes a truly unique aura, fitting out a minimalist ambience with snappy beats, vicious samples and hypnotising melodies. This is then met with fierce vocals from both King IV and Rromarin, unleashing a dynamic energy that is completely dance floor ready. Evoking the power of the likes of BANKS, championing each other's strengths and working together to create an enormous sound, King IV and Rromarin bounce off each other in perfect harmony.

King IV’s refocus on her sound has certainly unfurled more complex and original timbres, which convey growing finesse and maturity in her music. ‘We Can Get It’ certainly feels like a dream team collab between pair, and we’re pretty stoked to see where this talented lass takes her work next.
