Live Review: Kacy Hill and her new track 'Hard To Love' are anything but

Say what you want about the man, but there's no denying that KANYE WEST has a remarkable eye for talent. When he signed KACY HILL to G.O.O.D. MUSIC a few years ago, the whole world knew that this woman must be special. Now, after releasing her stunning Bloo EP, she's gearing up to drop her debut album, titled Like A Woman, and has just dropped the brilliantly infectious lead single 'Hard to Love.'

'Hard to Love' is a festival-ready electro-pop anthem that is reflective of an evolved Kacy Hilla version of herself that was clearly always within. It is both pounding and understated, with deliciously catchy production by the one and only DJ MUSTARD. Her tender vocals are soothing and sweet to the ear, only matched by the gorgeous building melody that backs it. Directly contrasted with the rather bleak subject matter, this song, about being let down by a lover, is irresistible as Kacy Hill manages to toe the line between sounding other-worldly and sounding on-trend - a balance many before her have tried to master but few have achieved.

Her debut record, Like A Woman, will be released on June 30 and lists Kanye West as an executive producer. Between Kacy Hill's own entrancing music and her collaborations with TRAVIS SCOTT, CASHMERE CAT and KID CUDI, she is destined for a stellar debut and we cannot wait.
