Live Review: ANH shows his versatility on sensual new tune 'Charade'

It's no secret that the Gold Coast is consistent in giving us some of our most exciting musical exports - think Paces & Amy Shark - and ANH is by no means an exception to that rule. His relatively brief musical journey has been swamped with accolades and accomplishments, and now he's released a joint EP with 16-year-old Portland producer QUICKLY, QUICKLY which is sure be added to said list of achievements. The entire thing is relentless in its approach of combining elements of music and culture from all across the world.

The EP's final single, 'Charade', is perhaps the track that does this the best. Combining facets of both ANH's and quickly, quickly's musical upbringing on two different sides of the world, alongside the production help from Austrian producer MO VIBEZ and the soulful vocal stylings of Nigerian-born/New York-based OLU BLISS, 'Charade' is the definition of a musical melting pot.

The entire track oozes sensuality at every turn, which is only perpetuated by ANH's knack for whipping up jazz-layered electronica as well as quickly, quickly's ability to surround the listener in lo-fi goodness. Couple that with Olu Bliss' magnificent voice, reminiscent of MNEK, and you've got yourself a sexy nighttime tune that doesn't let go of your attention - not even for a second.
