Live Review: "Cool It" with Mars Today

MARS TODAY has shared a taste of his upcoming EP with a sensual new single titled "Cool It".

The appropriately named "Cool It" is a refreshing, summery feeling R&B vibe. Horns reminiscent of Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment are weaved between crisp production and sexy vocals. In fact, that's the very inspiration of the track. Mars Today says, "This song was written and recorded in my bedroom, this is a song about practicing the art of baby making. It's designed to end up on your "Bedroom Playlist" or whatever you call that thang."

A man of many talents, Mars Today has written, produced and arranged the whole thing. It also features a slew of musicians on the guitar, Nate Mercereau on guitar and horns by Rafa Postel, Daniel Casares and Balboa Becker. 

"Cool It" comes off the back of Mars Today's earlier single 'No More', and has already seen approval from the likes of Soulection. He's frequently collaborated with them, and is currently on tour with Jahkoy who is opening for Kehlani. Not bad at all. We can't wait to hear more.
