Brooklyn based three-piece Savoy have put out a new track called ‘Living Color’, which has them working with NYC singer FatherDude. Together, they’ve delivered a refreshing disco and soul tune, that will be seen on Savoy’s forthcoming EP, Tomorrow Today Pt. 1.

The track takes a modern twist to many elements from 70's and 80's disco, with an elegant and almost timeless feel to it that doesn't clash with the aesthetic. Funk guitar and low end kick drums can be heard in the background with the synths being atmospheric and dreamlike, whilst the main chords that melt into the rest of the production alongside pulsing synths.

The vocals provided by FatherDude are dynamic and rich, featuring effects that makes them pop out of the production, along with catchy lyrics that make this song easy to sing along to on repeat listens.

Savoy had this to say on the song and FatherDude coming on to help out:

"We wanted to make something that doesn't sound like a trend or something that might be expected of us - but more a culmination of who we really are as artists and what has inspired us the most. FatherDude is an amazing vocalist, and we love how the song ended up with a feel good vibe that just flows."

The trio Savoy have really set the bar high for their upcoming EP but if this is any indicator it should be a feel good project from start to finish.
