Live Review: Jad & The have had 'Underachieving Koala' driven to a new location by Arthur Miles

If you recognise the name JAD & THE, it's because it's a shorter name for JAD & THE LADYBOY, who we haven't heard from in quite some time. The producer has been busy experimenting with new projects like SUPER FUN BUMPER EDITION, as well as tinkering away at his own mixes and melodies and he's now come back with and epic new track that has been remixed by ARTHUR MILES.

The track that's been transformed is 'Underachieving Koala'. Isn't that the best name you've ever heard? The Berlin-based producer created the track using eerie vocal samples that probably remind you of your nightmares and gloomy piano chords, so as much as you would think the piece is quite upbeat, you'll be pleasantly surprised with this fresh composition.

Arthur Miles took in this track with the vision of transforming it into a club banger. And transform it he did! The piano chords are overtaken by a bouncy beat and hollow synths that bring the track in before it drops into an airy and atmospheric fog of music. The vocal samples are just as poignant as they are in the original but feel less mysterious and more welcoming. Arthur has turned 'Underachieving Koala' into a very groovy club track that you'll be able to relax to and naturally swing alongside.

Both Jad & The and Arthur Miles are talented producers and this piece has given them the chance to cleanse their palette and create something brand new that will no doubt stand the test of time. We'll have this on repeat for quite a while.
