Live Review: San Holo sees the 'Light' on his new single
San Holo takes us on an adventure with his new single 'Light'.
Sometimes you can come across a musician who's music sounds so perfect, you just can't get enough. SAN HOLO, for us, is one of those musicians. His music is so drenched in atmosphere, that with every new single you get a new experience as well. The producer has released a brand new song called 'Light' and honestly, we're more than ready for this experience.
This track is more down tempo, suited best for you relaxing Sunday afternoons or early mornings. It's extremely atmospheric and feels like a cloud floating above you all fluffy and comforting. The lyrics chime, "I just want to see the light," and you start to feel immersed in light as the song builds. Sharp samples bounce out of the airy synths and soon, once 'Light' has reached its peak, an explosive array of vibrant synths punch their way out of the atmospherics.
The textures in this track make it so enticing that it's almost addictive. One minute you're feeling content and calm, the next you have energy surging through you. 'Light' makes you feel happy as a clam and has just enough techno and house elements to feel unique and also, kind of familiar.

San Holo is a great musician, there's no doubt about it. Each note in 'Light' brings on a new emotion but all together, creates a spectacular experience. Get lost in the 'Light' and feel something amazing!
