Auckland artist VILLETTE is on the rise, and has created an effortlessly emotive track called 'Beige'. Spoiler alert: its a groovy banger.

Auckland artist VILLETTE has created an effortlessly emotive track called 'Beige', and it's a groovy banger.

Vocals so sweet, the rising star been given the opportunity to open for acts such as SamplogyPaper DiamonHucci and Flako. With these under her belt, Villette has taken to the stage for a NZ tour as well opening for UV Boi and Collarbones tours. At only 20 and with this talent, this is only the beginning for this girl.

'Beige' stands as a strong statement of being stuck in a stale (beige) relationship and wanting to find something better; with colour. A combination of slow R&B rhythms, a soulful and smooth melody along with her angelic harmonies, this piece makes for a relaxed and sentimental jam. Take a listen!

The single released via Valve Sounds follows her usual R&B/electronic sound and is sure to gain her more attention from tastemakers. Ready to support Aluna George at their 30 Days in LA show, the 'one-women band' has also recently become a member of the Red Bull Music Academy program.
