Robotaki teams up with Ari for ‘Right Time’

ROBOTAKI has found the perfect time to drop his second original track, ‘Right Time’ featuring the smoky vocals of Ari.

The Montreal producer has been handing out jaw-dropping remixes for six years now and we’re psyched at his move into creating his own Robotaki originals. His first release, ‘Ghostboy’ garnered tremendous attention with over 1.2 million streams on Spotify and interest from the likes of Dillon FrancisDuke Dumont and The Chainsmokers to name a few.

Released through Majestic Casual Records, ‘Right Time’ is an electronic-RnB synthesis of interesting beat formations and seductive lyricism.

The track has a distinctive spacious quality to it. You can tell Robotaki has put a lot of time into the placement of rhythms and simplicity of layering. Easily a song for the summer, Ari‘s moody vocals combined with an explosion of killer synths makes it such an easy listen. As he describes himself, “It’s been a long journey this one.  I recieved the lyrics back in April, and really wanted to put everything I had in to it.  In its original form is was a mellow RnB record, but given the tour, and my desire to get dynamic with it, its now something entirely new. I love everyone’s reaction when I’m playing it out.”

A true beat-maker, Robotaki has most recently mixed an epic version of Halsey and The Chainsmokers, ‘Closer’ gathering a crazy 1 million plays in just two weeks. This legend is on a roll and in addition to recent successes has been brought along as a support on the Sheltor Tour with Porter Robinson and Madeon.

With 32 tour dates, you may be in luck in scoring a ticket to one of the shows, and I would if i was you. If you don’t get the chance, then at least head on over to his Soundcloud to listen to ‘Ghostboy’ and some delicious remixes of works by the likes of Mansionair and Strange Talk!
