Live Review: Mall Grab adds a bit of space to Kllo's 'Walls To Build'

Mall Grab has quite a large number of great tracks under his belt and he really knows how to craft an excellent piece of music.

KLLO are currently on tour supporting RUFUS and NAO, first in Europe and now the US. They released their second EP, Well Worn, earlier this year to even more critical acclaim than they've already received (which is a lot), and just a few weeks ago they had legendary producer LONE remix 'Bolide' - their lead single and what was their first ever remix. Not ones to slow down, Kllo have done it again. This time teaming up with MALL GRAB for another fantastic remix of 'Walls To Build'.

Mall Grab has quite a large number of great tracks under his belt and he really knows how to craft an excellent piece of music. 'Walls To Build' is a very vibrant track, full of life and very easy on the ears. For his remix, Mall Grab decided that it might be nice to tone down things even further.

At the beginning of the remix, you can already hear Mall Grab's influence as slightly distorted vocals dominate the build up until a soulful melody enters the picture. With hints of R'n'B, Mall Grab has created a very minimal remix that focuses on Chloe Kaul's vocals as he loops and plays with them throughout the over 6 minutes, leaving the melody to simply dance alongside it.

This remix is definitely easy listening, melding both elements of Kllo and Mall Grab without taking too much away from the other. Kllo picked an extremely talent producer to remix their track and now, thanks to them, we have another treasure from Mall Grab.
