Australia's most exciting export right now, Tkay Maidza, has dropped another massive single ahead of the release of her debut album.
To say that TKAY MAIDZA has been on a roll lately is a severe and disrespectful understatement. In the lead up to her debut album, TKAY, she’s given us monster lead single ‘Carry On’ and a thumping, Salva-produced ode to her kicks of choice ‘Tennies’. Now she has managed to make it three for three with ‘Simulation.’
Co-produced by long time collaborators L.K. McKay and George Maple, ‘Simulation’ is about never getting complacent with your dreams and pushing through any sort of setback that life throws your way. It’s a huge, glistening, tropical cut that marks Tkay’s most pop-friendly banger to date.

With the light, summer-cloaked production that L.K. McKay has made himself a name for, Tkay finds her groove as she floats effortlessly between fierce and sweet. Her unique and unabashed approach to combining dance, pop and hip-hop has always set her up for super stardom, and ‘Simulation’ merely cements that trajectory. This isn’t virtual reality, guys – Tkay Maidza’s talent is real, soaring and showing no signs of slowing down.
TKAY is out Friday, October 28 via Downtown and Interscope Records.
