Tabrill returns with ‘Reboot’
Zach Alvos AKA Tabrill is a Brisbane producer who has just dropped his latest track, ‘Reboot’- a track that will have you engrossed in its glitchy electronic atmosphere on the first listen.
Tabrill has been putting out music for a while now but he only recently has come out of a hiatus with ‘Reboot,’ which is a fitting name as it is a powerful reboot to his music career.
Tabrill describes the song structure of ‘Reboot’ as”beat>incomprehensible singing>beat>end,” and while correct, it does not describe the amount of detail that went into every second of this track. Rich and dynamic synths ooze out of this track, creating sounds out of a mix of different sounds and styles that would normally have no business being on the same track – and yet feel so natural on ‘Reboot’.
‘Reboot’ contains a lot of different texture with the synths used, often mixing rough bass synths with smoother melody lines to create contrast between the frequencies. It’s stunning with the amount of different sounds crammed into less than 3 minutes – even more stunning is that all these sounds manage to make a beautiful and interesting track. Tabrill has not wasted any time during his hiatus and makes the statement with this track that he still has the ability to make some awe-inspiring music.
Welcome back Tabrill, we here at Purple Sneakers are keen to hear what else you have to show off.
