Once again hitting it out of the park, the 2016 lineup for Paradise Music Festival looks to be the best one yet.
Quickly becoming one of Australia's most loved music festivals, Paradise Music Festival has done it once again and locked in some of Australia's best acts for a three day musical extravaganza just out of Melbourne. With a lineup that boasts some of the most up-and-coming, cutting edge, and prominent acts to emerge over the last 12 months and beyond, Paradise Music Festival have not only shared their full 2016 lineup this week, but have cemented themselves and their reputation of putting on one of the best festival experiences over the summer.
So, it goes without saying that Paradise is once again 100% Purple Sneakers Approved. With tickets flying out the proverbial door, we thought we'd give you a hand in knowing who you HAVE to see, with some of our absolute faves set to play over the late November weekend. Take a look:

ALICE IVY
Alice Ivy is absolutely everywhere now, and for very good reason. Having blown up earlier this year, her collaboration with Melbourne's RaRa catapulted her into our ears and on festival bills everywhere. She was heralded as one of the best acts at BIGSOUND, and now she's set to show the rest of the country why with her one-lady-band set up, utilising a slew of soulful samples, searing guitar and so much more to her set which ends up being an all-out party!
FRIENDSHIPS
Having just released their debut album, Melbourne duo friendships are set to end 2016 on a high with a string of performances around the country as well as PARADISE to end it all nicely in support of their record. Visceral, cutting edge and important, Nullabor 1988-1989 has to be seen to be believed, and this audio-visual duo give it all they've got every single time. Do not miss them!
GL
Party starters GL just make you feel good. They can get a crowd moving in seconds, and thanks to their 80's nostalgia tunes that prove to be excellent singalongs as well, the duo will have the whole crowd singing their feel-good lyrics right back to them. Members Ella Thompson and Graeme Pogson lay it down in their live setting. A force to be reckoned with, GL released one of the best albums of the year this year, so no doubt they'll be looking to end this year on a high - and Paradise looks to be the perfect setting.
SIMONA CASTRICUM
Having spent a few months across the pond in the US as well as performing a couple of sets at BIGSOUND this year, Simona Castricum is one of the most underrated electronic acts in Melbourne. Wearing her headset to free up her body, she gives everything she's got in her dark rave/techno sounds, getting into your psyche but making you dance. Best enjoyed in a cavernous tent or the like, Simona Castricum makes music you've probably not heard anything like before, but you'll enjoy immediately.
CHRISTOPHER PORT
Taking 2016 by storm, this has been a huge year for Christopher Port. Bringing garage to Australia and injecting his own style into it, Christopher Port makes some of the most refined, intricate and sensational dance music to come out of this year, and Paradise will see him once again take to the stage to show off his quickly growing live set in all it's glory. Where we stand, he can do no wrong, and this festival looks to be the perfect setting for him to once again show everyone what he's got!
