Live Review: Polographia want you to feel alright with their new disco song

Australian duo Polographia have come out with the disco inspired single 'Feels Alright'.

The track starts off with some absolutely beautiful piano before introducing stuff like funky bass lines, wavy synths and vocals. 'Feels Alright' has a lot of retro elements to it that make calls back to disco and funk music but with some more modern technique used to bring it into 2016. Polographia aren't new to the retro sound or aesthetic with previous singles, 'Sly' and 'Sweat It Out', but with each release they further carve out their own space - a space where disco and dance reign!

When talking about the song Polographia said:

"We both quickly noticed that it started to feel like one of those tracks that takes you back down memory lane or even makes you think about the future...I couldn't help but always think about all the great moments I've had with friends every time I put it on."

Polographia collaborated with fellow Australian Looks Fade to add his voice to the track. Offering up something slightly different, his voice fits in perfectly on the track with his airy delivery. Impressive from the start, Polographia are bound for big things in our opinion, and with an EP, Friends, set for release October 21 via Sweat It Out! Music, this is only the beginning!

If you, like us, can't wait to see this live, you're in luck as the duo have also announced a national tour in support of their Friends EP. See below:
