Anna Lunoe tells us her top five pre-set pump up tunes

7 October 2016 | 10:23 am | Julia Insolia

One of Australia's most exciting exports, Anna Lunoe returns with another stellar single to pump us up, so she told us her pump up tunes.

IRL angel ANNA LUNOE has redefined the term "killing it" lately, taking the US by storm with her energetic sets making thousands boogie across the country at some of their biggest festivals and venues. When she's not hosting her own show on Beats 1, she is busy carving out her own space in the dense dance & EDM space with her stellar original tunes as well as her out of this world DJ sets, and now she's back with yet another floor filler to herald in the Australian summer.

Titled 'Radioactive', the tune is an absolute banger of a dance track that will pump you up for life. Given the nature of the track, we asked Anna to tell us her top 5 tracks to listen to to pump her up before she slays on stage.

Princess Nokia - Tomboy

This girl is baaaaad. Like bad in a really good way. She tells stories in a way only she can and this beat is hot! I squeeze it in a set whenever I can ~ mostly for the 10 girls in the audience who lose their shit & me.

Party Next Door - Not Nice

This puts me in such a good mood. I start my set with it sometimes to reset the vibe and get people on my level.

Rihanna - Consideration

I recently saw Rihanna in concert at Made In America and I'm even more obsessed than before. She owns the stage with every movement and hair flick. Girl kills it so effortlessly. What we do is so different but I left totally inspired.

What So Not - Divide & Conquer

Recently went on tour with WSN and he started his set with this... Another good mood re-setter. The kind of songs that wipe off every mood that came before it so you can get in the zone. Works every time.

M.I.A - Hombre

One of my first big gigs was supporting M.I.A on her KALA tour and the energy in her music always gets me ready. I could basically choose anything she released pre 2009 for this but lets go with hombre.
