Live Review: THANKS sample Jill Scott for new single 'Livin' My Life'

THANKS put out the track 'Livin' My Life', creating a funky, french house-esque track that features great use of a Jill Scott sample.

'Livin' My Life' is funky and it wears that title proudly. Everything from the keys to the bass to the soulful vocal sample of Jill Scott, the track just oozes funk and soul. THANKS has a sound reminiscent of artist such as Justice and Basement Jaxx, a sound which incorporates elements of disco, funk, soul and house together to create something catchy and addictive to dance to.

The video features a man dancing around the sunny streets of his city, while simple in concept the video executes its premise well and has a great use of colour in it's shots that give the entire video a warm and happy feeling to it.

THANKS has made a feel good track that is practically guaranteed to give good vibes to any listener.
