They talented electro-pop duo, Stevie have just released their latest single Decay. Their soothing electro sound is compiled of former Go Violets guitarist and singer Phoebe Imhoff and producer Miro Mackie. They couldn’t be more of a match made in heaven, their latest track reminiscent of a little teenage rebellion with its edgy clap-synths and grungy lyrics.

Alongside the latest single the Brisbane pair are bringing their edgy sound to The Foundry stage this Saturday night in celebration of Brisbabes 1st birthday!

So in light of their sparkling talent and speedy ascent to the top, we got a little insight into their top picks of Australian artist.

FOREVR

This Brisbane band have recently expanded from a two piece to a four piece to create some stunning experimental pop. Songstress Sam George-Allen is a Goddess on stage, making you wish you could have stage outfits as magical as hers.

San Mei

Emily Hamilton is the voice behind San Mei, an ethereal indie-pop outfit from the Gold Coast. I really love this remix created by Brisbane producer Jordan De Pas who goes under the musical moniker Zaped.

Tempura Nights

GO PUNK OR GO HOME! This band knows how to bring the goods. Fronted by multi-talented Alice Rezende (web designer by day, Musician by night) and backed by members of our fave brissy bands Major Leagues and The Creases, you know you are guaranteed some quality music.

Lastlings

These Gold Coast siblings have a super bright future ahead of them. I accidentally stumbled upon their Instagram page a while back thinking they were just really really ridiculously good-looking people until I dug further to discover their wondrous, layered electronic-pop . I recently caught their live set at Bigsound and I’m so glad I did.

Babaganouj

Babaganouj, more like babagababes, am I right? This band can do no wrong, apart from getting their catchy melodies stuck in your head all day long. Please watch this adorable film clip feat. adorable humans.
