Live Review: Taste the quirky vibes in SPARROWS 'Get To Know You'

Fresh-faced Sydney artist, SPARROWS has dropped a rather quirky pop-soul track called, 'Get To Know You'.

Previously receiving a slew of support from triple j, FBi radio and AMRAP for her debut single, 'On Your Own', Sparrows is well on her way to the top. Taking a tone similar to that of Amy Winehouse and a fun alternative Bjork/Grimes style approach to her music, Sparrows creates a seductive and languid piece.

'Get To Know You' is created with samples of Sparrows' field recordings, mixed with inspiration following from a weekend at Return to Rio. Vocals so angelic in tone, a sense of euphoria is achieved through tastefully written lyrics. Taking R&B beats, soulful vocals and deliciously intricate melodic perks, Sparrows masters the fun, eccentric vibe. Take a listen!
