Live Review: Running Touch gets personal with 'Levitate' video

RUNNING TOUCH, a name you should get to know if you haven't already, has just released the personalised vid to his latest single, 'Levitate'.

The man has literally been 'running' up the charts over the past year, being named the #7 artist to watch for 2016 according to inthemix, made it to the 50 most played acts on triple J Unearthed, and most recently having his own intimate tent set at one of the most noteworthy events of the year, Splendour In The Grass. Following his debut single 'Courtesy Of', 'Levitate' is a perfect addition.

A track of pure confidence reveals an entrancing quality with a smouldering ambience and hard-hitting rhythms. Running Touch explains, "Levitate was a project birthed from some hyper-reality, graphic, obsessive and personal material I wrote. It's meant to be personal and I didn't want to change that when translating the vision to video. I wanted to make it personal by planning, directing and assist in editing it myself, using people I knew and making the experience just as personal for me as the song itself”

The black and white video reveals an overall portrayal of sensuality with a staggering of images with violent connotations. A very personal and intimate track to Running Touch, listen to his emotive, transcending piece and indulge in the seductive imagery.
