Live Review: Promises LTD have put on their 'American Eyes'

You may or may not be aware that Chrome Sparks and Miniature Tigers had a love child and called it PROMISES LTD. If you aren’t, then all you need to know is that they now have an EP, and a new track ‘American Eyes’ for you to get involved with.

‘American Eyes’ has an old school 80’s kind of feel. It’s a bit like the soundtrack you conjured in your head to your life as played out by an American high school movie when you were a kid. However, contrary to the happy endings these normally would have, the track kind of ends on an almost sad and dramatic note, taking it from summery vibes to apocalyptic vibes in those last few seconds. Maybe not the best outcome for the movie, but in this song we can't get enough.

As can be expected from the combo of Chrome Sparks and Miniature Tigers, ‘American Eyes’ is filled with flowing synths, and a dominant beat catapulting the track from phrase to phrase, allowing it to become more of a journey than a simple tale.
