Taking his forward-thinking music into the live arena has been a key move for Moonbase Commander - clubs around the country are in for an audio visual treat

Moonbase Commander resides in the grimy warehouses of the Sydney bass music scene - a producer who unites the worlds of left-field hip hop and future bass to rousing effect.

Taking his forward-thinking music into the live arena has been a key move for Moonbase Commander and coming off the back of a massive Splendour In The Grass performance - check it out HERE - clubs around the country are in for an audio visual treat.

"With the Greyhound tour being my first official tour run, it only felt right to hit all my favourite club spots around the nation. I'm excited to show off exclusive visuals and spin a whole bunch of new tunes in my upcoming sets."

On top of this, the Sydney-sider has added some pretty impressive stuff to his ever growing resume this year alone, opening for the likes of Mr Carmack and Tkay Maidza, playing at Secret Garden Fest, Groovin’ The Moo, our cheeky Tenth Birthday Party.

Refusing to touch the brake pedal for even a second, Moonbase Commander (aka Nick Luke) lays down his full throttle beats from start to finish. Drawing influence from the big dogs of the game likeTNGHTHudson Mohawke‘s solo work, and even elements from frenetic and experimental acts like Crystal Castles, Luke keeps it fresh, tight and controlled – even when it sounds like it’s all about to break loose.
