Nao’s debut album ‘For All We Know’ is just around the corner
After commanding you to keep NAO in you radar a little while ago, further evidence has come forth as to exactly why this could be a life changing decision. As the July 29 release date for debut album For All We Know looms closer, she has dropped the first in a series of short films shot around the album.
The first instalment ‘Episode 1’, shows a candid account of the singers world, including her own musings on becoming a star, footage from live performances, and the recording studio. It includes teasers for a couple of previously unheard tracks, which will be fully revealed when For All We Know is released.
With a whopping 18 tracks For All We Know is set to make some major waves on the list of 2016’s best albums. In fact 2016 seems to be a yeah of greatness for NAO after playing Glastonbury, and being featured on the cover of The Guardian, to name a few of the highlights.
Her musical inspiration rings true throughout her tracks, and even watching the first instalment of the albums short films, you can see the mix of worlds NAO seems to have meshed into one. Listen out for the gospel influences of her upbringing, combined with the UK Garage her brother would play and the 90’s and 00’s R&B her sister listened to. It makes for a truly unique sound. So as previously mentioned, keep NAO on your radar, and be sure to check out that album come July 29, you can pre-order it now on iTunes.
