Help yourself to exclusive music and help the world in the process with TEEF's 'Imperium in Imperio II'

You may remember when we gushed over a little Sydney label's compilation in 2015. That was TEEF Recordings' inaugural, Imperium in Imperio release. It was a smashing success, so after another year of growth, the label has decided to offer us a second serve of Imperium.

For those out of the know, Imperium In Imperio, is a compilation album of unreleased and unheard tracks by Australian artists. The album's title literally means 'Empire Within An Empire', a reference to a small group of artists who are creating their own kingdom and community within the greater sphere of Australian music. What's even better, is that it's released in association with OXFAM, and every dollar collected from sales goes directly to them!

In 2015, the release featured songs from artists such as Collarbones, Planète, GRRL PAL, Lupa J, Darcy Baylis etc; and raised just under $1000 for OXFAM's Nepal earthquake appeal.

This time around TEEF have pulled out all the stops, and grabbed exclusive tracks from the likes of Sampa The Great, Fishing, Japanese Wallpaper, Woodes, Alice Ivy and AIYA alongside a few big names working under pseudonyms, such as Lower Spectrum working under Sylva. All proceeds from Imperium II will be donated directly to OXFAM's Syrian refugee appeal.
