Live Review: You'll be hearing Mallrat's 'Inside Voices'

Sometime last year 16 year old MALLRAT appeared on my radar and legitimately made me wish I as a) that cool now, let alone at 16, and b) a teenager again so I could be her homie and hangout on the weekends.

Obviously I live in a fantasy world, but this legend keeps getting cooler and cooler with the likes of her latest track ‘Inside Voices’.

Mallrat has consistently teamed up with producer Tigerilla to create the winning formula, and ‘Inside Voices’ is no exception, although Casper Zazz has been added to the mix this time around, proving you can one up yourself.

In her debut track, ‘Suicide Blondes’ Mallrat proved she had some rap talent, her follow up ‘Sunglasses’ sat somewhere in the middle, and now we are experiencing the vocal talent she also possesses.

‘Inside Voices’ has this fun and eternally bouncy sound to it, while somehow remaining quite chill. You can cruise around going about your business, keeping active, without feeling the need to go crazy on the dance moves. It sounds confusing, but it works.

July 1st is the day to watch out for when Mallrat will finally unveil her debut EP and prove my claim of her legend status. Keep an eye out for it.
