Celebrate twenty years of Air with 'TwentyYears'
You've heard of AIR, but what you might not have heard of, is their greatest hits album. We're going to tell you all about it.
I've heard of AIR, you've heard of AIR, hell your Mum might even know the name (depending completely on whether or not she's a 'cool mom' like Regina George's) what you might not have heard of, is their greatest hits album. That would be because it was only just announced and we're going to tell you all about it.
Twenty years ago Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel, two French boys from Versailles (the city not the palace) had their international debut with 'Modular Mix' and since then have managed to attach legendary status to their name. To celebrate their success so far they have decided to release a 'best of' album, from which every track has been hand selected by the duo.
The aptly named, TwentyYears, will be out June 10th. Disc one will feature all of Air's 'Best Of' tracks, whilst the second will feature some of their rarest, never before heard tracks. Later on in the year (July 22nd) the limited edition Super Deluxe Edition which includes a third CD of Air's remixes including re-takes of artists like David Bowie and Beck.

It's definitely something to look forward to, particularly the never heard before tracks, and something collectors will need to get their hands on.
