YAKIS is bringing classic UK breakbeat into 2016 with his debut EP 'Buzz Aldrin'. Here's the first taste, with the bass heavy title track.

Upcoming Byron Bay born artist, YAKIS, is bringing classic UK breakbeat into 2016 with his debut EP, Buzz Aldrin. Featuring swollen synths, ultra low sub bass and unorthodox drum patterns, the title track has got you covered.

Listening to 'Buzz Aldrin' one can really get a taste for the style Yakis is aiming for, dance music laced in heavy bass designed to be played on a large stereo where the bass can rumble the building.

To contrast the heavy bass there's also a high pitched squealing synth that sirens on during the drop giving the track a real bouncy feel, which is also assisted by the drums. Bringing in sounds both old and new Yakis knows how to make a great bass heavy track that is sure to blast in some clubs near you soon.

Available on iTunes tomorrow the EP is only two tracks long but it's sure to be worth it. Here's hoping Yakis keeps coming out with more absolute bangers for the rest of 2016.
