When a track comes with the image of a Sausage dog, you know you’re in for a treat. Welcome to newcomer PHOTAY’s version of ‘Monday’.

When a track comes complete with the image of a Sausage dog gracing its Soundcloud page, you know you’re in for a treat. Welcome to newcomer PHOTAY’s version of ‘Monday’.

Based in New York, Photay, began making tunes in 2014, but has more or less been very quiet until now. With his debut EP Sadie due out later this month the time has come for him to move and shake his way about the world of electronic music.

‘Monday’ is a bubbly, happy go lucky kind of feel. It makes some ideal Monday morning listening for anyone who suffers from chronic, or even terminal Mondayitis. Brought to life after a cross-country road trip, this is the first time Photay has used his own vocals. It’s true exposure for the artist, who obviously has a lot of talent yet to show the world.

This track is something you can bop along to, feel a bit funky while shaking your booty to, and importantly, get out of bed and out into the world, no matter the weather.

Sadie is out March 25 on Astro Nautico. The sausage dog also returns for the EP artwork.
