Live Review: TOKiMONSTA drops a bonafide banger in 'Put It Down'
'Put It Down' is the latest track from TOKIMONSTA, which delivers some heavy trap, it's a bonafide banger.
TOKIMONSTA is known for her diverse ability in production and being able to pump out tracks from many different genres and 'Put It Down' is her latest track which is a heavy trap banger featuring Anderson .paak and KRNE.
'Put it Down' has all the elements of a trap banger from the 808 drums to the braggadocios raps and it even has the traditional trap horn samples, all of the traditional elements of a trap banger are mixed with unique elements added in by TOKiMONSTA like chopped up vocals and synths that wail in the background.
TOKiMONSTA did a amazing job at making the production on this track as clean as possible, all the breakdowns feel like they belong in the song and add some good dynamic range in an otherwise loud and in your face kind of song.

The vocals on this track are well done and they fit the track and the tracks changes in tone. It's impressive hearing the vocals go from hard hitting raps to soft singing vocals that are harmonizing with themselves and the track itself.
'Put it down' is the first single from TOKiMONSTA's forthcoming EP Fovere, she had this to say about the forthcoming project - “Fovere is my most complete work to date. By complete I mean it's a body of work that is whole and that I'm proud of. It represents my life at the time it was being made - a point where a lot of transitions were being made and I had the biggest personal growth spurt.”
