RIOUX musical breeding grounds have covered everywhere from Detroit to New York and Berlin, leaving very few musical stones unturned.

RIOUX’s musical breeding grounds have covered everywhere from Detroit to New York and Berlin, leaving very few musical stones unturned. This can be intricately heard in his latest track ‘Prime Matter’, premiered by Boiler Room.

Rioux is 25 year old, New York based, Erin Rioux. He is known for his psychedelic tinged electronica, combining technology with instrumental work to create his unique sounds.

Taking his music on a metaphysical journey, Rioux has created a sound in ‘Prime Matter’ that leaves you both soothed and awe-inspired. The track sounds both like something you might here in an epic, gothic cathedral, and also pumping out of an underground club, hidden somewhere in streets of somewhere much cooler than where you live.

Rioux describes the track as being “a state of energy in its raw, potential form”. As you listen to ‘Prime Matter’ it seems to fill vast, open spaces in a somewhat haunting, but unforgettable way.

‘Prime Matter’ is officially out February 5 through Human Pitch.
