Premiering right here right now is the freshman release from MANTOCLIFF, a five piece band hailing from Basel. 'These Words' has a fantastic capacity to build an atmosphere of emotional energy with it's vibrant instrumentation and on point vocal delivery.

Mantocliff combine a lot of different elements within 'These Words'; from orchestral strings to electronic synths and soft vocals it comes together to feel light and gentle. The mixing and mastering has to be given credit because this track has amazing balance between its many elements, allowing all of the instrumentation of the track really shine through while not being in your face with obvious loudness. When you hear all the production at the peak of this track it comes together beautifully.

'These Words' is a light and atmospheric pop track with heavy lyrics and emotional vocal delivery, comparison can be drawn to artist such as Banks or FKA Twigs, but Mantocliff has a more natural feeling to it. This is probably the effect of the instrumentation being performed by a band, with some elements programmed rather than the more electronically produced synths of other artists who are in the same genre.
