Live Review: Give into Akouo's new single, 'Giving Into You'

Tasmanian beatmaker AKOUO has shared his first track of the year; a collaborative track featuring Danish singer/songwriter ASHIBAH. Titled 'Giving Into You', Akouo's signature percussion led sound heads into future funk territory, whilst Ashibah provides some absolutely killer vocals.

With a hook that won't quit and some intricate, meticulous production from Akouo, 'Giving Into You' is an upbeat and masterful track. Tapping into funk, RnB, pop and more, Akouo keeps it fresh with big synth jabs and sharp percussion. He locks in a groove that will get you moving instantly, as Ashibah's soulful vocals glide over the top.

Akouo is a producer that requires no introduction, as he's been kicking around for a while now, but we wouldn't be surprised if this was that track that really saw him break out.

Taken from alaya's third compilation, released just a few days ago, we can only hope this is the start if something really big for Akouo. He's garnering a monster following, both at home and abroad, and that is only set to get even bigger if he keeps dropping tracks like this. It's only up from here!
