Live Review: I'lls 'Let Me Have Just One (Planete Remix)'

Given his close knit friendship with the I'lls guys, Planete has taken on single 'Let Me Have Just One' as a final acknowledgement to the boys on hiatus.

Although now temporarily defunct, Melbourne group I'LLS will forever be in our hearts as one of the greatest emerging acts we've heard in a long time.

At PS, we love scouring out the best new emerging acts to bring to you on a day to day basis, and another of our favourite up and comers is Planète.

The Melbourne producer has gone from strength to strength over the course of the year, and with his ecstatic brand of minimal electronic sounds, he's swiftly shifting from emerging to notable in status.

Given his close knit friendship with the I'lls guys, he's taken on their single 'Let Me Have Just One' as a final acknowledgement to the boys on hiatus, and it's an 8 and a half minute slow burner with intense credibility and great finesse.

With his take on minimal techno and a great bout of deep house that's been served straight into this one, it's no wonder that this has come out of the studio feeling sleek, sound and incredibly thoughtful.

The original has been completely reallocated to an entirely new realm of slow, tempered electronica, but that's the beauty of Planète's sound; he's got the capacity and the skill to do so.
